Pretty sure he was skimboarding the bigger stuff at the end too... amazing either way... At the beginning I thought he was paddling in on the skimboard but maybe he was using one of those winch slingshot things for those ones too. I think most excellent skimboarders are pretty good surfers too... There are a couple shorebreak beaches around here that the guys really rip up.
